Governing Principles
Set in type, like a periodical.
The product is typeset, not decorated — headers, volume/issue numbers, and dates behave like a masthead, not app chrome.
Time, not cards, is the primary axis.
Content organizes chronologically (ledger entries, cash flow) rather than as a grid of disconnected cards.
Color carries category.
Direction is shown by sign and weight. Hue never encodes positive/negative; parentheses and typographic weight do that job instead.
Hairlines, not borders. Air, not shadow.
0.6px rules replace box-shadow and heavy borders system-wide.
